More than 30 years ago in college, before I called myself a painter, I used to sit in my college room copying the watercolors of Paul Klee. It made me feel like I was home on days when I was missing home. Something in the layering of geometric shapes, and the the colors, made feel better. Decades later, moving to a new home, that same urge pulsed through me.
